WHAT TO EXPECT

Yoga is both a mental & a physical practice. It has been around in various forms for many thousands of years. There are many benefits of regular yoga practice, just a few of the rewards include:
Increased strength and flexibility (of body and mind)
Improved sense of mental and physical wellbeing
Relief for mental and physical tension
Reduced stress through relaxation
Balance for the mind, body and spirit
NBYoga classes will generally include a breathing practice (pranayama), postures (asana), concentration and/ or meditation and will close with a relaxation. We will work in stages at all times, so the class is suitable for all ages and all levels of experience.
CLASSES ARE SUITABLE FOR EVERYONE, INCLUDING BEGINNERS
Equipment is provided. All you need to bring is a warmer layer (a jumper or cardigan) for the relaxation at the end of the class and a bottle of water.
If you are attending an NBYoga class for the first time, please take a few minutes to read and complete the Student Questionnaire and either email this back to firstname.lastname@example.org or bring it with you to your first class. I'm always at the venue early and am happy to answer any questions or queries you may have in person.
